YOUR MISSION: - Lead & Scale (~7 Engineers): Drive, mentor, and grow our Applied AI & Platform Engineering team. Build a high-velocity culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and technical excellence. - Bridge Vision to Execution: Partner closely with our Principal Engineer to turn high-level architectural visions into actionable roadmaps, clear sprint priorities, and flawless delivery. - Accelerate Delivery: Relentlessly remove blockers, elevate engineering standards, and leverage our in-office days (Tuesday–Thursday in Hamburg) for high-bandwidth collaboration and fast alignment. - Ship Applied AI at Scale: Drive production-level integration of cutting-edge AI (LLMs, AI agents, vector search) directly into our core scalable platform infrastructure. - Smart Hands-On (10–20% Initially): Stay close to the tech. Bring a pragmatic, hands-on mindset early on for architecture spikes, code reviews, and technical guidance before transitioning fully to strategic leadership.
