Air Cargo Belgium (ACB) is the official representative of the air cargo community at Brussels Airport Cargo. With over 170 member companies , we bring together airlines, handlers, forwarders, the airport authority and other stakeholders. We connect, inspire, and strengthen the Brussels air cargo community through events, projects and communication. Every year we organize several events that range from content-driven seminars with 20 participants, to bigger networking events like our BBQ with over 700 guests, to more leisurely events like a football tournament. Additionally, we also organize smaller activities like handing out Easter Eggs. With our renewed strategy, we aim to grow from 3,000 yearly event visitors/participants to over 7,000 in the coming years. This means more events, new ideas on how to best reach our audiences and more strong communication! To make this happen, we’re looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. Your Role: As our new Community Engagement Coordinator, you will: Events & Coordination Take the lead in event coordination from A to Z, including the planning, promotion and execution of workshops, seminars, networking events and larger community events. Work closely with our Community Engagement Lead, another coordinator and the wider ACB team to ensure smooth event organization and execution. Occasionally represent ACB, and support the community, at international fairs and events. Communication & Content Manage and grow ACB’s social media presence in collaboration with your community engagement colleagues, using tools such as Canva and scheduling tools to create engaging and professional content. Create engaging content for newsletters, social media and online updates, highlighting community news, success stories and relevant information Support the promotion and visibility of ACB’s initiatives, events and community activities.
