Descripción

About Volumental Volumental is a FitTech™ company used by footwear brands and retailers, matching people with shoes that truly fit through 3D scanning and machine learning. Our vision is "a world without sizes, where every body fits". We work with brands like New Balance, Red Wing, Fleet Feet, and Vivobarefoot across 3,000+ stores in 60 countries, with 60M+ foot scans collected, one of the world's largest datasets of its kind. We've always been an AI company at our core. Today, that extends beyond the product into how we build, using AI agents and strong self-serve tooling to move faster from idea to production. Where you fit in Every scan in every one of those stores, and every recommendation we give, depends on infrastructure that has to work while a shopper is standing in front of a clerk. Our platform runs on Kubernetes on Google Cloud, is managed as code, is deployed through GitOps, and is observed through Grafana. What we’re looking for is someone who treats that platform as a product: one our developers can self-serve on, that holds up when things go wrong, and that is ready for new kinds of workloads. This is a hands-on Platform Engineer role. Most days you'll be shipping and running infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD, keeping an eye on our systems through Grafana, and building tools in Go that let developers get what they need without waiting on anyone. You'll also spend time explaining technical tradeoffs and writing docs that others can act on. AI is changing the industry, and we see it as an opportunity to empower people. By automating toil and mechanical tasks across the organisation, people can focus on the architectural, novel, and creative work. You will be right at the centre of this transformation, enabling not only yourself and your team’s work, but ensuring that the company can leverage AI and accelerate as a whole. Things you'll do: Ship and run production infrastructure on Kubernetes and GCP, managed as code with Terraform and deplo
