Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and suppliers, you will optimise mechanical designs while maintaining product functionality, quality, and manufacturability.You will be responsible for:- Driving the technical and commercial optimisation of serial production products, with a focus on identifying and implementing sustainable cost reduction opportunities.- Analysing and reducing manufacturing costs for serial products and complex mechanical assemblies using structured engineering methodologies.- Developing and implementing design improvements to optimise the cost and performance of mechanical systems.- Simplifying complex assemblies while maintaining the required functionality, quality, and product performance.- Evaluating and developing alternative technical solutions with consideration for cost, manufacturability, and quality.- Performing cost analyses and business case evaluations based on material costs, manufacturing processes, and machine hourly rates.- Collaborating closely with Engineering, Procurement,
