IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC)

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Information Technology (IT) Management Series, GS-2210 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving AND have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-13) or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes: Applying information assurance policies and system security procedures designed to protect communications and computer systems to include the entire SAP enterprise; evaluating current system security posture, monitoring activities, and assessing the security awareness knowledge of staff as it relates to assigned areas of responsibility; advising IT/IA counterparts and experts in the SAP community on a variety of
