COMMAND POST SPECIALIST

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of and skill in applying an extensive body of AFRC (Air Force Reserve Command), GMAJCOM (Gaining Major Command), USAF (United States Air Force), and JCS (Joint Chiefs of Staff) command post regulations, methods, and procedures, to perform a wide range of situations, make arrangements, provide advice, that requires authoritative procedural knowledge of various C2 regulations/procedures. Knowledge of SORTS directives/instructions and ability to correlate and analyze a variety of SORTS (Status of Resources and Training System) and other operational reports
