As part of a planned succession, we are seeking a new Head of Institute.Professor \& Head of the Winterthur Institute of Health Economics (WIG) 80\-100 %================================================================================= **School:**School of Management and Law **Starting date:**1 November 2027 or by agreement; Application deadline: 30 November 2026; first interviews will take place in December 2026 and January 2027 **Your role*** Leading further development of the institute with over 30 highly motivated faculty and staff* Managing the institute together with the heads of the four research centers: Centers for Health Economic Research, HTA and Health Economic Evaluation, Health Care Management, Health Services Research; and the Center for Education \& Services* Together with senior team members responsible for generating third party funding through research and executive education (external funding ratio approximately 80 percent)* Contributing to teaching and research in one of the topical areas of the institute as a full professor **Your profile*** Health economist with a PhD in Economics, Health Economics, or a closely related Social/Health Science discipline with a strong publication history in leading peer\-reviewed journals* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive strategic development and identify new research opportunities (thinking out of the box)* Strong, proven leadership capabilities with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills* Strong and proven track record in acquiring substantial third\-
