We are currently looking for an experienced and collaborative BAS-U Case Officer to join the OL31 railway project in Vagnhärad. This is a key role within one of Sweden's most important infrastructure projects, where safety, coordination, collaboration and leadership are critical to success. About the Role As Bas-U Case Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating work environment activities throughout the construction phase in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Act (AML), AFS 2023:3, and project contractual requirements. You will ensure that all work performed by HOCHTIEF, subcontractors, and specialist contractors is planned, coordinated, and executed safely. The role carries significant responsibility and authority to manage and coordinate health and safety matters across the entire project. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate work environment activities throughout the construction phase. Maintain and continuously update the Construction Work Environment Plan. Coordinate work planning, scheduling, and risk management activities. Verify risk assessments, work preparations, permits, competencies, and required documentation before work starts. Ensure compliance with Swedish work environment legislation and project safety requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and safety coordination meetings. Manage site inductions and access control processes.
