Lead Accounting Technician

One year of general experience, which demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform accounting functions. One year of specialized experience performing non-appropriated fund accounting transactions, including working with customers and other interested parties to explain financial procedures, convey options, resolve discrepancies, and manage accounting transactions using an automated accounting system. In-depth knowledge of non-appropriated fund accounting practices, regulations, requirements and procedures is required. Knowledge of the FFR mission and the purpose of various FFR activities. Knowledge and experience with the FFR automated management data system (e.g. SAP) sufficient to identify and reconcile errors, manipulate data and generate reports. Skill in the use of general ledger and subsidiary accounts in an account structure requiring a number of asset and liability
