Descripción

**Type**: Full-time and permanent **Location**: Helsinki, Aleksanterinkatu 48 **Application deadline**: 20.10.2026 **Looking for a role where you can take real ownership and help shape the next generation of business-critical fintech software?** MORS Software develops Treasury Management and Asset & Liability Management software for banks. The product is evolving from a primarily desktop architecture toward a browser-based experience, a durable application/API layer and governed AI/agentic capabilities through MORSia. Now, MORS is hiring a **Senior Software Engineer** to join its growing engineering team. **What will you be doing?** As a Senior Software Engineer at MORS, you will take end-to-end ownership of key areas of its treasury and banking software. Your work will be backend-focused, with C#/.NET at the core, and will combine work on established production systems with building new solutions. Roughly 60% of the work focuses on the existing product and architecture and 40% on new development. Your initial focus will be on Financial Planning and Payments, where you will take ownership of existing functionality while contributing to their continued development. Over time, your scope may expand into other areas of MORSs banking software. Ownership here means more than implementing predefined tickets. You will work with Product and domain specialists to understand the underlying business problem, design the solution, implement and test it, take it to production, investigate issues, and improve it further. You will also have room to challenge existing approaches and influence technical and architectural decisions together with MORS's CTO and engineering team. **What makes you a great fit?** You are an experienced backend engineer who enjoys taking responsibility for complex software rather than focusing only on an isolated part of the development cycle. You can navigate an established codebase, make pragmatic technical decisions, and move work forward independently
