What you can expect - In your role, you will proactively contact potential customers by phone and email, qualify leads using CRM systems, and manage opportunities through to handover or direct quotation. - You will prepare and follow up on tailored offers, including follow-up calls, while working closely with the field sales, tender management, and pricing team to develop suitable logistics solutions. - You will maintain accurate customer data in the CRM and support the planning and implementation of sales campaigns, mailings, and trade fair participation. - You will participate in internal sales meetings to align on customer targeting and strategies, while continuously monitoring the market and competitors for new business opportunities. - Additionally, you will qualify inbound leads from marketing activities and prepare basic pricing calculations to support a smooth and efficient sales process. What you bring - You have successfully completed a commercial training, ideally in the field of freight forwarding or logistics services. - First experience in inside sales or operational air / sea freight is an advantage. - Naturally, you enjoy speaking with customers and have strong communication skills, especially over the phone. - A structured and goal-oriented mindset defines your way of working, and you are able to work independently. - You are confident using MS Office and CRM systems.
