Our customer was established in 1968 and is a part of a big Automotive Corporation in Japan. The Brussels office is the headquarters of 8 branches in France, Germany, Poland, Czech, Turkey, Italy and Hungary. They are urgently looking for a Business Developer E-Mobility Supply Chain, with experience in Purchase, and in automotive sector. This position involves real trading activities and business transactions with partners across Asia (including Japan). They are looking for a dynamic Business Developer who can accelerate this process, drive growth, and coordinate projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Supply Chain Build and strengthen relationships with Asian automotive suppliers. Manage commercial activities, customer communication, logistics, and cost calculations. Identify and onboard new manufacturing partners. Support procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, negotiations, and QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) management. Electrification & Market Development Develop new business opportunities for battery-related materials and EV components. Conduct market research and identify emerging technologies and innovative companies. Explore strategic partnerships and investment opportunities. Strategy & Market Intelligence Monitor market and competitor developments. Support business growth strategies and market-entry initiatives. Collaborate with international teams to align regional and global objectives. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree (Master's is a plus). Fluent in English. Experience in procurement, purchasing, sales, or business development IN the Automotive sector Familiarity with Genchi Genbutsu and Kaizen principles is a plus. Technical or engineering background preferred, or a strong interest in business development. Strong communication and negotiation skills in an international environment.
