As a Driver C / Logistics Assistant, you'll enjoy a varied role that combines transport and logistics tasks. You'll be transporting goods in a small lorry and also helping with the loading, unloading and moving of materials. No two days are the same: one moment you'll be behind the wheel, and the next you'll be lending a hand in the logistics department. As a Driver / Logistics Assistant, you'll have a varied role in which you combine warehouse duties with transport. You'll ensure that goods and materials are available on time, are handled with care and are transported safely between different locations. Through your hard work, you'll help ensure a smooth and efficient logistics process. What will you be doing? - Transporting goods and materials using a small lorry or company van; - Picking, checking and preparing materials in accordance with work orders; - Receiving and checking incoming goods and outgoing consignments; - Carrying out vehicle checks and inspections to ensure safe transport; - Recording transport data and maintaining the relevant records; - Ensuring a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment; - Assisting with various logistics tasks where required.
