ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying ship building practices applicable to the design, construction, grooming and testing of a submarine. Experience implementing knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) and Weapons major systems and components of a submarine and their operation. Experience maintaining thorough knowledge of interface system/subsystems that support Nuclear or Combat systems testing. Experience applying production shop cognizant work and test assignments, including key and assist trades. Experience assessing, anticipating, and responding to the complete spectrum of system technical alterations, procedural changes, shifting schedules and unusual demands involved in the implementation and conduct of HM&E and CSO Weapons
