We have come a long way in our digital transformation, and we are now looking for a Data Governance Manager, who will ensure data governance practice and strengthen our ability to manage data as a strategic asset within MSF Sweden. In this role, you will lead and coordinate data governance initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders from different departments to establish clear ownership of data, improve data quality, support compliance requirements, and ensure that data is managed consistently and responsibly throughout its lifecycle.The roleYou will facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams, helping define standards, policies, and processes that enable trusted and well-governed data. You will also contribute to the continued development of our data management capabilities, including data cataloguing, data stewardship, and master data management. The role also involve implementing measures to ensure data security, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.Further responsibilities: Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance policies, standards, and processes across MSF Sweden. Facilitate collaboration between departments to establish common definitions, ownership, and accountability for key data domains. Lead data stewardship initiatives and support stakeholders in managing data quality and lifecycle activities. Support the development and adoption of data cataloguing and master data management practices. Monitor and improve data quality through governance frameworks, controls, and reporting. Ensure that data management practices comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Participate in security and compliance initiatives related to information and data management. Act as an internal advisor and advocate for data governance best practices.
