Our goal is to develop sustainable solutions with the highest quality standards, optimize processes, and drive innovation to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector (m/f/d) with a focus on Source Inspection for the aerospace sector. In this role, you will conduct supplier inspections across Europe, focusing on cabin, structural, and mechanical components. Reference Number: 04-25 RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supplier Inspections (Source Inspection): Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and materials directly at European suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements - Documentation Review: Check and evaluate supplier documents such as inspection reports, material certificates, and conformity statements according to aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, EN9100) - Inspection Methods: Apply visual, dimensional, and functional testing methods using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (e.g., ultrasonic, eddy current) is a plus - Supplier Communication & Audits: Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met and participate in audits and assessments to verify compliance with internal and international aerospace standards (e.g., EASA, FAA, FAI) - Reporting & Documentation: Prepare accurate inspection reports, document deviations, corrective actions, and compliance evidence - Product Lifecycle Support: Assist in evaluating new components regarding technical specifications, inspection requirements, and safety
