Regional Government Liaison Officer

In order to qualify for this position, you must have the basic education requirements listed below plus at least one year of specialized experience at the GG-13 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience that demonstrates knowledge of NRC programs, policies and authorities and a working knowledge of and familiarity with organizational structures, operating procedures and staff throughout the agency related to regulatory activities. In addition, candidates must have a thorough knowledge of and expertise in the principles, practices and theories involved in the design, functions and safety considerations relating to nuclear facilities; safe and effective use of radiological materials and radiological emergency response planning.
