Waiter/Waitress (Zero-hour contract)

Job description**Position:** Waiter/Waitress (zero-hour contract at the start)**Location:** Aito Fresh, Helsinki**Reports to:** Manager/SupervisorResponsibilities**1\. Customer service**· Welcome customers, explain menu options when needed, take orders and process payments.· Provide friendly, attentive service and respond to customer requests.**2\. Food preparation**· Prepare poke bowls and keep ingredients fresh, well-stocked and presentable.· Follow the restaurants food-safety and hygiene practices.**3\. Restaurant operations**· Keep the service area clean, restock supplies and help the restaurant run smoothly.· Work closely with the team during busy periods, including weekends and holidays.Requirements**Experience:** Previous restaurant experience is an advantage; training is provided.**Skills:** Good communication, attention to detail and the ability to learn the point-of-sale system.**Attitude:** A focus on customer experience and an interest in finding practical ways to improve daily work efficiency.**Languages:** Finnish is an advantage, but not required**Other:** Ability to work at a steady pace, stand for periods and handle food supplies; availability for weekend or holiday shifts.A Finnish Hygiene Passport is required for handling unpackaged perishable foods within the statutory time limit.
