As CARE Platform Operations Engineer at ILIAS, you work where infrastructure, applications, releases and customer service operations meet. You resolve technical challenges, support releases, contribute to structural improvements and strengthen customer service environments through engineering expertise, automation and proactive problem-solving. You look beyond the immediate fix. By recognizing patterns, reducing recurring work, improving operational standards and guiding technical decisions, you help move support from reactive problem-solving toward a more structured and predictable way of working. Your Mission What You Will Do Handle technical escalations, including critical incidents, recurring problems and ILIAS platform defects that require careful investigation, with specialist input available for the most complex cases. Analyze root causes across infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud, security and network layers, and translate findings into clear actions that prevent issues from returning. Improve service reliability by identifying technical debt, analyzing incident trends, defining preventive improvements and supporting disaster recovery validation and resilience testing.
