If so, this might be your next opportunity!About the position Perido is looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant on behalf of our client, a major bank operating in an international environment. In this role, you will play a key part in financial and regulatory reporting activities, supporting both local and group reporting requirements.The position is situated in the north of Stockholm with the possibility of working remotely two days a week.Your daily tasksAs a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will operate in a dynamic, highly regulated financial environment and manage complex reporting processes with high accuracy.Your key duties will include: Supporting and executing financial and regulatory reporting activities for both local and group requirements Managing reporting to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen), the Riksbank, and Statistics Sweden (SCB) Applying IFRS standards practically within the banking environment Handling hedge accounting, including documentation, effectiveness testing, and ongoing reporting requirements Interpreting and implementing new regulatory and accounting requirements Managing accounting treatments for financial instruments and navigating complex group reporting and consolidation processesYour characteristicsTo succeed in this role, you are a self-motivated professional with strong analytical skills and a high commitment to accuracy and quality. You feel comfortable taking ownership of complex tasks independently while navigating an international, highly regulated group structure.
