We are seeking talented and self-motivating master graduates with commitment to in-depth empirical studies on the topic of digital transformation in practice. The position will be affiliated with IDI's research group on Applied Information Technology (AIT). The fellowship will be part of our research on digital transformation from a sociotechnical perspective, which highlights the interaction between technological development and organizational processes and concerns. The aim of the fellowship is to contribute original knowledge and valuable insights into this dynamic relationship going beyond mere technological promises and managerial visions when it comes to digital transformation. More specific, the fellowship will focus on digital workplace transformation and seek to examine the interplay between work practices and digital transformation, and how this can be facilitated and managed. Central topics of investigation will include digital transformation, use of artificial intelligence (AI), user agency and empowerment, digital workplace and work, new ways of working, and other related topics.
