Responsibilities Translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and program structures. Develop and maintain backend software using mainframe technologies and modern development tools. Create and execute comprehensive test cases and perform technical integration testing. Conduct self and peer code reviews to maintain high quality and performance standards. Analyze and resolve incidents and defects to ensure system reliability. Participate in a standby rotation to ensure continuous service availability. Requirements 5+ years of experience in backend development within a mainframe environment. You have solid technical expertise in COBOL , PL/1 , EGL , and DB2 . You bring experience with development and versioning tools such as IDz workbench , Changeman , and GitHub . You possess the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. You're experienced in working with Agile methodologies in complex environments. You are proactive, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. You are fluent in Dutch and English . Nice to Haves Experience in financial markets and investment banking.
