JOB OVERVIEW The SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Specialist will administer, improve and progressively develop KOMIS's SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environment. You will work on our SharePoint intranet, Hub architecture, departmental Team Sites, document management, permissions and automation , while also supporting colleagues with existing SharePoint solutions. The role combines hands-on technical work with business-process understanding. You will work closely with the allocated KOMIS Manager, Project Managers and users to translate operational needs into practical and maintainable Microsoft 365 solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Administer, maintain and improve KOMIS's SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environment. Support Project Managers and users with existing SharePoint sites and functionality. Configure and progressively develop the SharePoint Online intranet and Hub architecture. Create and maintain departmental SharePoint Team Sites connected to Microsoft Teams. Configure Hub navigation, Quick Links, News templates and aggregated news. Troubleshoot SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues and implement practical solutions. Information, documents & access Configure document libraries, metadata, views and information structures. Support restructuring and migration of content from existing SharePoint sites. Manage Microsoft Entra ID security groups, permissions and access controls, including library-level permissions. Help maintain clear, secure and manageable access structures across SharePoint. Automation & business solutions Develop SharePoint Lists and, progressively, Power Automate workflows and Power Apps where useful.
