ROLE OVERVIEWBalyasny Asset Management is looking for an exceptional Analyst to work on an Oil portfolio team in Switzerland – open to Geneva or Zug. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to be part of the trajectory and triumph of our oil trading activities OverviewSupport an oil trading team through fundamental analysis, quantitative modelling, risk monitoring, and trade execution. The role translates market data and supply-demand balances into actionable views across derivative markets. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain oil supply-and-demand balances.Analyse refinery runs, inventories, vessel movements, arbitrage economics, weather, power demand, and macro drivers.Develop trade views across cracks, time spreads, geographical spreads, crude spreads, and flat price.Build and enhance Python, SQL, and Excel models, dashboards, and trading signals.Monitor P&L, positions, exposures, and daily risk.Produce concise market commentary and communicate trade ideas clearly.
