Apply directly Contact us Automatisch verbeterd voor betere leesbaarheid Transaction Monitoring Scenario Expert (Wholesale & Rural) Role purpose: Design, optimize, and govern transaction monitoring (TM) scenarios to strengthen AML/CTF detection coverage for Wholesale and Rural banking portfolios while balancing risk, regulatory expectations, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities - Develop, tune, and maintain TM scenarios, thresholds, and segmentation for Wholesale & Rural customer populations. - Perform data-driven analysis of alerts, typologies, and outcomes to improve precision, reduce false positives, and enhance risk coverage. - Translate regulatory guidance, internal policy, and emerging financial crime risks into actionable scenario logic and control enhancements. - Partner with Financial Crime Operations, Compliance, Model Risk, Technology, and business stakeholders to implement scenario changes end-to-end. - Document scenario rationale, testing results, governance approvals, and change controls for audit and regulatory review. - Monitor performance using KPIs (e.g., alert volumes, conversion rates, hit quality) and recommend continuous improvements. Required skills and experience - Strong AML/CTF and transaction monitoring expertise, including typologies relevant to Wholesale and Rural banking. - Experience in scenario tuning, segmentation, threshold calibration, and back-testing/validation methodologies. - Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret trends; proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Excel,...
