Director, Production Engineering and Technologies, Industrialization Do you enjoy helping people grow and building strong partnerships across an organization? Do you want to shape how world-leading products go from development to production? As our Director, Production Engineering and Technologies, Industrialization, you'll lead an organization of about 90 people. Together, you'll make sure every new Axis product can be built and tested with high quality. The role is based on-site at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Your future team You will lead six teams, each with their own manager, all working together in Lund. These teams own the production flow in Axis product development projects. They define, develop and implement the flow, from post-PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) to a fully assembled Axis product, at our EMS partners. This includes product-specific production equipment, as well as the test modules and common sequences used in each product's test process. Our work directly affects how well and how reliably our products reach customers around the world. You will report to the Director of Global Industrialization and be a member of the Industrialization Management Team. The management team consists of Project Quality Managers, an Industrial Lead, Packaging & Product Data Group Managers, and an EMS NPI Lead, in addition to the managers in your organization. Our mission is to take responsibility for the industrialization activities in product development projects, ensuring that new Axis products are introduced and produced efficiently, with the right quality and optimized production costs. We also work closely with R&D on a long-term basis to define the production capabilities and equipment needed in the future, preparing for upcoming technologies and innovations.
