ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

For the GS-11 Position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating, conducting, and/or participating in environmental investigations, inspections and surveys for the purpose of maintaining facility compliance with a variety of environmental rules and regulations; 2) Performing a full range of environmental protection duties using environmental concepts, theories, practices and techniques applicable to environmental protection programs; 3) Providing technical and administrative support to ensure compliance in all matters pertaining to assigned program areas; and 4) Handling environmental questions related to environmental regulations including spill prevention, hazardous waste emergency response operations, spill cleanup, hazardous material transportati
