As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join Konecranes' Shipyard Cranes team and work on some of the world's largest and most technically demanding crane projects. Your responsibilities include structural analyses, strength calculations and mechanical design throughout both the tendering and project execution phases. You will perform strength analyses, mass, cross-sectional and machinery calculations, transportation and erection analyses, and support design decisions by interpreting standards, specifications and customer requirements. Working closely with designers, project teams and customers, you will contribute to solving complex engineering challenges while gradually taking on broader technical responsibilities. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop towards future mechanical Chief Project Engineer responsibilities with support from experienced senior engineering professionals.
