Job Description Job Description The Director of Nursing Designee plays a pivotal role in maintaining clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care. In this dual-function role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to supervise nursing staff, conduct patient assessments, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal hospice regulations. When the DON is away, you will assume full administrative and clinical leadership of the hospice nursing department.
