Distribution Center Associate – Inbound/Outbound Logistics (EPT)Summary:Responsible for executing internal material movements, dock loading operations, and customer fulfillment for an international specialty food distribution center.Detailed Duties: - Material Handling: Safely operate Electric Pallet Trucks (EPT) to transfer pallets between bulk storage, pick faces, and dispatch staging. - Order Fulfillment: Pick line items accurately against pick sheets/scanners across ambient and temperature-controlled exotic product lines. - Dock Operations: Execute inbound freight unloading and outbound carrier loading with strict adherence to pallet integrity standards. - Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain clear pathways, verify pallet wraps, and report equipment defects promptly.Job Specifications: - Physical Demands: Sustained walking, lifting, bending, and equipment operation throughout 8-hour shifts. - Shift Times: 06:00–15:00 (Monday to Friday); bi-weekly Saturday rotation (06:00–11:00). - Languages: Working knowledge of English or Dutch to maintain occupational health and safety standards. - Certifications: EPT license preferred; company-funded certification is available for qualified applicants.Compensation & Perks: - Standard base rate plus a 50% premium for Saturday operational hours. - Frequent overtime windows. - 100% public transit cost reimbursement. - Product discounts across all imported Asian and exotic goods. - Defined pathways toward a permanent direct-hire contract.Apply via Staffice.nl to initiate your onboarding.
