Take the established Winterthur Institute of Health Economics (WIG) to the next level. As part of a planned succession, we are seeking a new Head of Institute. Professor \\\& Head of the Winterthur Institute of Health Economics (WIG) 80\\-100 % \*\*School:\*\* School of Management and Law \*\*Starting date:\*\* 1 November 2027 or by agreement; Application deadline: 30 November 2026; first interviews will take place in December 2026 and January 2027 \*\*Your role\*\* \* Leading further development of the institute with over 30 highly motivated faculty and staff \* Managing the institute together with the heads of the four research centers: Centers for Health Economic Research, HTA and Health Economic Evaluation, Health Care Management, Health Services Research; and the Center for Education \\\& Services \* Together with senior team members responsible for generating third party funding through research and executive education (external funding ratio approximately 80 percent) \* Contributing to teaching and research in one of the topical areas of the institute as a full professor \*\*Your profile\*\* \* Health economist with a PhD in Economics, Health Economics, or a closely related Social/Health Science discipline with a strong publication history in leading peer\\-reviewed journals \* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive strategic development and identify new research opportunities (thinking out of the box) \* Strong, proven leadership capabilities with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills \* Strong and proven track record in acquiring substantial third\\-party funding and competitive research grants \* Experience in developing and positioning executive education programs \* Established, active, and influential professional network across national and international healthcare and academic sectors \* Deep, nuanced understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, its regulatory framework, and current policy challenges \*
