COMPUTER ASSISTANT

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06 or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes: Applying the fundamentals of programming logic, system and higher-level languages used in limited programing, and operating system input/output methods and software to program assigned modules and provide for a variety of input, media, processing controls, and variation in run stream controls; Coordinating with users and acquiring information about subject matter content, processing purposes, program objectives, and similar information used in module and modification programming; Utilizing programming techniques to recognize program modification requirements
