Law Enforcement Information Systems Specialist

Experience: You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Explaining information conveyed to the field on surveillance activities, sensor alarms, and database findings; Gathering, verifying, and sorting information requested by Border Patrol Agents, and law enforcement organizations for accuracy and completeness; Reviewing various reports to ensure accuracy; Informing supervisors of progress, potential controversies, and any widespread impacts; Directing and advising responding law enforcement officers using information derived from law enforcement information systems.
