About the Assignment We are looking for a highly experienced Tech Lead with a strong background in Java, cloud technologies, and software architecture for a long-term assignment based in Gothenburg. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will combine software development with architectural responsibilities. You will contribute to both the implementation of solutions and the technical direction of the wider platform. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working close to the code while also being comfortable discussing architecture, making technical decisions, and guiding other developers. You will work in a modern DevOps environment together with several development teams. The organization follows an agile way of working with short development iterations and longer planning cycles. Your Responsibilities As a Tech Lead, you will be involved in both technical delivery and architectural development. Your responsibilities will include: Providing technical leadership within the development team Developing and maintaining backend services using Java and Spring Boot Designing scalable and maintainable software solutions Contributing to overall system and solution architecture Evaluating technical approaches and making architectural decisions Working with AWS and cloud-native technologies Developing distributed and asynchronous applications Collaborating closely with developers, architects, and other technical stakeholders Supporting engineering best practices around testing, quality, and automation Contributing to CI/CD and continuous delivery processes Sharing knowledge and supporting the technical growth of the team The position offers a balanced combination of hands-on development and architectural work.
