You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Applying immigration, nationality, customs, and related Federal laws to determine alienage, identify criminal offenses, and take enforcement actions; Gathering, interpreting, and documenting intelligence from multiple sources, analyzing disparate information, and producing reports or products that support enforcement, interdiction, or prosecutorial decisions; Using law enforcement and intelligence information systems, fixed and mobile surveillance technology, sensors, and detection equipment to identify, track, and interdict criminal activity or illegal entries; Conducting complex investigations involving counterfeit or fraudulent documents, interviewing subjects and witnesses (including in Spanish), and preparing detailed written reports or case files for criminal or administrative proceedings; Applying probable cause and r
