HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION)

To qualify for the GS-11 position, your resume must demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: (1) Applying human resources theories, principles, laws, rules, and regulations to assist management in designing, developing, and implementing HR strategic plans to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission; (2) Utilizing classification principles and concepts to assist in interpreting and applying classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions; (3) Reviewing pay and recruitment actions to determine types of appointments and their appropriate application in both the competitive and excepted service; and (4) Utilizing data base systems, e.g. DCPDS and USA Staffing, to assist in accomplishing recruitment, classification
