Your role In this position, you will oversee one of the world's largest Automotive High-Voltage Discrete SiC Power Product Portfolios as an application engineer with a focus on systems such as OBC/DCDC, AUX drives, and other non-inverter HV loads. Key responsibilities in your new role * Identify and evaluate new system concepts, topologies, and application scenarios (e.g. in OBC, DC-DC converters, dual stage vs. single-stage matrix topologies) and define the requirement trends for our next-generation SiC technologies and packages to enable system innovation for our customers * Finalize and own the product requirements as input for development projects. Inputs come from our customers as well as our internal global system expert network, or need to be assumed by you. * Identify the optimal product concept together with our concept engineers if trade-offs are to be taken into account * Serve as the primary technical interface for our lead customers who apply our products in the early sampling stage in their next-generation system development; learn together with them and provide in-depth technical design-in support.
